Both culverts exhibited deposition <br />inside the culvert that requires removal. <br />AE7 Culvert more than half full of sediment. <br />EMF1 Runoff not flowing over armored channel causing <br />channel side cutting. Rock in channel is too large. <br />It is imperative that worn out culverts (SA4A, SA7 and SA2) identified in the March 2017 <br />complete inspection, be repaired before the upcoming rain and snow season in anticipation of fall <br />rains and 2018 spring runoff. <br /> <br />INSPECTION: <br />GENERAL MINE PLAN COMPLIANCE: <br />Main haul roads were being watered and ash was being hauled to the ash pit. The excavator was <br />loading coal and 100 ton coal haul trucks were operating. One dragline was operating casting <br />spoil and dozers were pushing spoil in the active pit.
