The inspection was conducted and the report prepared by me, Robin Reilley of the DRMS. <br />Graham Roberts, Trapper Mine representative was present throughout the inspection. Skies had <br />high clouds and temperatures ranged from 65-85 degrees Fahrenheit. Two soil samples were <br />collected in Area AB 16. This area is included in Phase I SL18 bond release application for <br />2017. Portions of drainages reclaimed in 2010 and included in SL18 were walked. An <br />overburden blast was observed in the L dip pit. <br /> <br />PERMITTING ACTIONS: <br />o SL18 Phase I bond release of 175.3 acres received and deemed complete by DRMS on 7 March 2017. <br />Review of the application is currently underway by DRMS. Inspection is scheduled for 18 July 2017. <br />o TR118 Annual Reclamation Report for 2016 and Appendix W were received from Trapper 15 March <br />2017 and deemed complete by DRMS 16 March 2017. DRMS sent preliminary adequacy questions to <br />Trapper Inc., on 11 May 2017. <br />o RN7 Permit renewal received by DRMS 14 April 2017 and deemed complete 18 April 2017. On 9 June <br />2017 DRMS sent preliminary adequacy questions to Trapper Mine. The following needed updates to RN7 <br />were noted during this inspection: <br />i. Culverts SA4A and SA7 require updating of the culvert size in permit. <br />o PR8 Permit Revision 8, response to stipulations was received by DRMS 4 May 2017 and found <br />complete 12 May 2017. DRMS is currently reviewing the revision. <br /> <br />MAINTENANCE ITEMS: Ponds and Culverts <br />Pond Name Comments <br /> <br />W/DQ = Holding <br />water/Discharging <br /> <br />Middle Flume #1 W Grass clump should be removed at upstream <br />portion of spillway. <br />East Flume #1 <br />W <br />Animal burrows require filling around <br />spillway and along banks.
