17. Grouting Plan <br /> The area that the Detroit City Mine is being developed in as known to be free of any ground water <br /> sources. All ground water flows in the region are a significant distance away vertically or <br /> horizontally. If drilling and blasting underground encounters any water inflows,the source of said <br /> flow will be immediately grouted to completely seal the source. Pressure grouting will use a <br /> resinous or cementitious grout that will stop said water flow and prevent future in-flows from that <br /> source.Annual reports will note if grouting was conducted in the previous year,and describe the <br /> type and extent of it. <br /> If water in-flow is encountered that cannot be stopped by grouting or a similar source control <br /> method,the Division will be notified in writing within 30-days. <br /> Detroit City Mine February 2017 C-6 <br />
