March 29, 2017 C-1982-056/Foidel Creek Mine TNL <br /> <br /> <br />Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 7 <br />Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 3 <br /> <br /> Page 5 of 15 <br /> <br />ROADS – Rule 4.03 <br />Construction 4.03.1(3)/4.03.2(3) <br />Drainage 4.03.1(4)/4.03.2(4) <br />Surfacing and Maintenance4.03.1(5) and (6)/4.03.2(5) and (6) <br />Reclamation 4.03.1(7)/4.03.2(7): <br /> <br />The roads at the site were graded and maintained, but muddy at time of inspection. <br /> <br />SLIDES and DAMAGE - Rule 4.12: <br /> The slump above the rail line near the train loadout area was observed. The area does not appear to have moved <br />significantly since the last inspection. Per TC a contracted engineering firm is completing plans to address the <br />area. <br /> <br />SUPPORT FACILITIES - Rule 4.04: <br /> <br />10RT Borehole area: The pad area is stable no problems were observed. Culvert at the access road was clear and in <br />good condition. Topsoil pile was vegetated and stable. 10R pump house, the start of the 10R pipeline was observed <br />and no issues were noted. <br /> <br />13L Outby Gate Road Utility Borehole: Access road was stable. Two culvert at the bend in the access road, one is <br />in good condition the other will need the outlet cleared out. <br /> <br />Northwest ventilation shaft area: no problems were noted <br /> <br />6MN ventilation shaft area is stable and no problems were observed. 6MN reservoir was full but not discharging. <br />This pond recycles water back underground. The pipeline corridor appears stable and vegetated. <br /> <br />5MN cement borehole pad area is stable. <br /> <br />5MN pipeline area between 6MN access road and the 5MN pad area appears stable and was hydro-seeded in early <br />November. <br /> <br />9E Utility Boreholes are completed, the blower unit and electrical distribution system has been installed. The <br />surrounding sediment control ditches were clear and functional. The topsoil stockpiles are marked, appear stable, <br />and have been reseeded late last fall. Construction activities are finishing up and bins will be removed once <br />complete. <br /> <br />
