Reclamation Plan-Amendment <br /> Exhibit E <br /> 6.4.5(2)(b)Post-Mining Use and Vicinity <br /> The closed mine site will be returned to a limited or restricted recreational land use. <br /> 6.4.5(2)(c)Meeting Requirements of Section 3.1 <br /> • Rule 3.1.1 Establishing Post-Mining Use: <br /> The affected lands will be revegetated with an approved seed mix and trees Section 6.4.5(2)(d) <br /> and(f). <br /> • Rule 3.1.2 Reclaiming Substituted Land: <br /> No substituted reclamation land is planned. <br /> • Rule 3.1.3 Time Limit and Phased Reclamation: <br /> Reclamation activities will be conducted on affected lands(Exhibit D)as discussed in Section <br /> 6.4.5(2)(e)below. The Operator will complete each reclamation phase within five years from the <br /> date the Operator informs the Division that reclamation for a specific phase has begun. <br /> • Rule 3.1.4 Public Use: <br /> Public use within the permit area will only be authorized by the Operator if conducted in accord- <br /> ance with the Limited Landowner Liability Law contained in Article 41 of Title 33, C.R.S. 1984, <br /> as amended,and use will not be permitted in areas where such use is found to be deleterious to <br /> post-mining environmental conditions. <br /> • Rule 3.1.5 Reclamation Measures—Materials Handling: <br /> (1)Final grading is planned to conform aesthetically to the surrounding landscape; <br /> (2)Grading will be done in a manner that mitigates offsite potential erosion;(See Exhibit F Fig- <br /> ures F1-F6; Sections 6.4.5(2)(a) and(f)(i)); <br /> (3)Backfilling and grading will be completed upon mine closure; Section 6.4.5(2)(e)(i); <br /> (4)The Operator will dispose of refuse and mined material as outlined in Section 6.4.5(2)(a), <br /> Exhibit D and Exhibit U); <br /> (5)Drill holes opened during mining will be abandoned in accordance with approved closure cri- <br /> teria; <br /> 112d Permit <br /> May Day Idaho Mine Complex <br /> Revised March 8,2017 <br /> Exhibit E—Rule 6.4.5 Page 3 of 7 <br />
