E. The stitch density shall be as required to achieve minimum seam strength of 200 psi. <br />Continuously sew all geotextile seams. Spot sewing is not allowed. <br />F. Use locking stitch. <br />3.5 REPAIR OF DAMAGED GEOTEXTILE <br />A. Remove geotextile that is contaminated with unspecified soil, debris or other foreign <br />matter. Replace removed geotextile with uncontaminated geotextile. Repair any damage <br />to geotextile during its installation or during placement of backfill, riprap or embankment <br />fill. <br />B. Repair damaged geotextile by placing a piece of geotextile large enough to cover the torn <br />or punctured area, meeting the overlap requirement, and extend a minimum of 12 inches <br />beyond the edge of the damaged area. <br />END OF SECTION 02205 <br />Geotextile February 2017 02205-4 <br />
