E. Riprap from On -Site Stockpiles: Owner will provide access to Riprap from stockpiles
on the Battle Mountain site near the San Luis Tailing Impoundment as shown on the
Drawing. Riprap shall be sorted durable, angular to subangular hard rock fragments
derived from the stockpiles. Riprap also may be derived from other approved sources.
Grading requirements for Riprap Type 1, Type 2 and Type 3 are shown on Table 02200-
3, Table 02200-4, and Table 02200-5, respectively:

F. Road Base: Road base to be applied as a wearing surface shall be Class 5 road base per the
CDOT specifications meeting the gradation limits shown on Table 02200-6. Compaction of
road gravel shall be to a minimum of ninety-three percent (93%) of maximum density by ASTM
D 698 at a moisture content near optimum moisture.
