Record significant discussions at each meeting, agreements, disagreements and final <br />plan of action. Distribute record to those in attendance and to Engineer. <br />4. Do not proceed with unit of work until pre -installation meeting is successfully <br />concluded with agreed-upon plan of action. <br />5. Engineer may waive this requirement if Engineer feels it has been adequately <br />discussed at weekly meetings. <br />B. Inspection of Substrates: Require installer of each major unit of work to inspect substrate <br />to receive work and conditions under which work is to be performed. <br />1. Report unsatisfactory conditions to Contractor in writing with copy to Engineer. <br />2. Do not proceed with work until unsatisfactory conditions have been corrected. <br />C. Where installations include manufactured products, comply with manufacturer's <br />applicable drawings, instructions, and recommendations for installation. <br />1. Reference Section the specific section describing a manufactured product. <br />2. Notify Engineer of conflicts between manufacturer's instructions or recommendation <br />and requirements specified or indicated. <br />3. Maintain copy of manufacturer's applicable drawings and printed instructions on-site. <br />D. Provide attachment and correction devices and methods for securing work. <br />1. Secure work true to line and level and within specified tolerances or, if not specified, <br />use industry -recognized or manufacturer -required tolerances. <br />2. Allow for ample and normal expansion and contraction for building components and <br />piping systems that are subject to such. <br />3. Exposed Joints <br />a. Provide uniform joint width. <br />b. Arrange joints to obtain best visual effect. <br />c. Refer questionable visual -effect choices to Engineer for final decision. <br />4. Erect, install, and secure components in a structurally sound and appropriate manner. <br />E.
