Store products in accordance with supplier's and/or manufacturer's recommendations. <br />1. Keep seals and labels intact and legible. <br />2. Store sensitive products in weather -tight, climate controlled enclosures maintained <br />within temperature and humidity ranges recommended by manufacturer. <br />3. Store loose granular materials on solid surfaces in well drained area to prevent <br />intrusion of foreign matter. <br />a. Reference the Specification Sections describing a manufactured product for <br />additional requirements. <br />B. Exterior Storage Protection <br />1. Fabricated Products: Place on sloped supports above ground. <br />2. Cover products subject to deterioration with impervious sheet covering. Provide <br />ventilation to avoid condensation. <br />C. On -Site Storage <br />1. Contractor may store materials and equipment at approved areas of the San Luis <br />Water Treatment Plant yard located nearby. The Contractor assumes liability for use <br />of this area in relation to the storage of materials and equipment at this site. It is the <br />responsibility of the Contractor to obtain additional storage areas if needed. The <br />Contractor may have to share this site for storage with other contractors with which <br />the Owner may have contracts or with the Owner. Contractor's stored equipment and <br />materials shall not infringe or impede access to the Water Treatment Plant or access <br />around the Water Treatment Plant.
