IHC and Ames Construction, Inc. <br /> IHC Job#3097 <br /> 10. Optional Items — Lines H1000, H1410, H1020, 111030 and H1040 are all hourly items of work that may <br /> or may not be used. The use of these items will be at the sole discretion of Contractor. <br /> 11. Optional Items - Lines 01040, 01050, 01060, 01070, 01080, 01090, 01100, 01110, 01120, 01130, <br /> 01140 and 01150 inlets, manholes, reinforced concrete pipe, MSE walls and existing shoulder <br /> stabilization are optional items and may or may not be used. The use of these items will be at the sole <br /> discretion of Contractor if they are first approved by Owner. <br /> 12. Subcontractor shall attend quality control pre-work meetings for its items of work. <br /> 13. Attendance is mandatory at weekly progress meetings while Subcontractor is active on the project. <br /> 14. If requested by Contractor, the presence of Subcontractor's onsite manager and a corporate office or <br /> regional manager will be required for partnering sessions. <br /> 15. Any areas that require seed and/or mulch outside of the grading limits, due to the negligence of <br /> Subcontractor or due to a method of operation by and for the convenience of Subcontractor, shall be at <br /> Subcontractor's expense. <br /> 16.The following exclusions will apply. <br /> • Sales tax <br /> • Source and cost for construction water <br /> • Insurance—Railroad Protective, Builder's Risk and Pollution Liability <br /> • FinaI trimming of subgrade and base courses for concrete pavements <br /> • Removal or relocation of existing utilities <br /> • Electrical, lighting and weather stations <br /> • Construction survey and as-built drawings <br /> • Street sweeping <br /> • QC testing <br /> • Permit fees except those required to perform Subcontractor's work <br /> • Railroad flagging <br /> • Erosion control/BMPs <br /> • Vehicle tracking control <br /> • Concrete washouts <br /> • Landscape, irrigation and hardscaping <br /> • Importing topsoil or organic amendments <br /> • Spraying or control of noxious weeds <br /> • Dust control for Contractor or its other Subcontractors <br /> • Detour paving <br /> • Saw cutting of existing pavements <br /> • Maintenance of traffic <br /> • Night-time TCM <br /> • Pipe end wall shving walls. <br /> Schedule B To Subcontract Page 2 of 3 <br />
