Geosynthetics Installation Contractor <br />The Geosynthetics Installation Contractor, also referred to as the "CONTRACTOR" or <br />"INSTALLER", is responsible for installation of the geosynthetic components, as outlined in the <br />project SPECIFICATIONS. <br />The INSTALLER must meet the requirements outlined in the project SPECIFICATIONS. <br />The INSTALLER will be responsible for storage, handling, deploying, temporary geomembrane <br />anchoring, seaming, repairs and non‐destructive testing, in accordance with the project plans, <br />SPECIFICATIONS and the Installer’s internal quality control program. It is the Installer’s <br />responsibility to see that all submittals are received as outlined in the project SPECIFICATIONS. <br />2.8. Earthworks Contractor <br />The Earthworks Contractor, also referred to as "CONTRACTOR" is responsible for proper <br />delivery and placement of earthwork components as outlined in the project SPECIFICATIONS. <br />3. PART 3: LINES OF COMMUNICATION <br />The CQA Monitor shall be capable of direct communication with the MANAGER, DESIGN <br />ENGINEER, CERTIFYING ENGINEER and CONTRACTOR at all times. Deficiencies that can be <br />easily remedied, such as unsatisfactory test results, will be dealt with directly between the <br />CQA Monitor, INSTALLER , and/or CONTRACTORS. <br />If there is a disagreement among the DESIGN ENGINEER, CERTIFYING ENGINEER and/or <br />MANAGER that cannot be resolved among themselves, MANAGER shall present the matter to <br />CC&V with MANAGER related recommendations and CC&V shall decide the matter with such <br />decision being final. <br />4. PART 4: DEFICIENCIES <br />When deficiencies (items that do not meet project requirements) are discovered, the CQA <br />Monitor shall immediately determine the nature and extent of the problem and notify the <br />INSTALLER or CONTRACTOR. If unsatisfactory test results identify a deficiency, additional tests <br />will be performed to define the extent of the deficient area. <br />The INSTALLER or CONTRACTOR shall correct the deficiency to the satisfaction of the CQA <br />Monitor.
