�p C) <br /> rMOPMEMTransit Mix Concrete Co. <br /> RPM,Inc. <br /> (11) No unauthorized release of pollutants to ground water shall occur <br /> from any materials mined, handled or disposed of within the permit area: <br /> The slurry disposal into the proposed pond is a continuation of an already approved operation <br /> and no pollutants are anticipated to be released to ground water. <br /> 3.1.6 Water-General Requirements: <br /> (1) Hydrology and Water Quality: <br /> Ground water is discussed in Exhibit "G". As proposed, the waste disposal facility will not <br /> adversely affect surface water hydrology or surface or ground water quality. <br /> (a) Compliance with applicable Colorado water laws and <br /> regulations governing injury to water rights: <br /> CMC/TMCC will comply with Colorado water laws and regulations governing injury to existing <br /> water rights by staying at least 2 feet above the historic ground water elevation. In the area of <br /> construction material removal, the ground water elevations measured in test borings during the <br /> engineering site evaluation phase measured 7.5 feet on the north to 20 feet above ground water <br /> on the south, across the existing pit floor. In addition, CMCTMCC may dig backhoe pit(s), as <br /> necessary, to ensure the excavation of construction material from behind the pond embankment <br /> is at least 2 feet above the natural ground water elevation. <br /> (b) Compliance with applicable federal and Colorado water <br /> quality laws and regulations, including statewide water quality standards and site-specific <br /> classifications and standards adopted by the Water Quality Control Commission: <br /> The Operator will comply with all applicable Federal and Colorado water quality laws and <br /> regulations, including all the standards adopted by the State Water Quality Control Commission. <br /> There will be no discharge of process water from the site. <br /> The operation is not expected to intercept the regional ground water table or impact ground water <br /> as discussed above. <br /> 8 <br />
