Water Right for the Geisert Reservoir <br /> 9.1. Name of Structure: The Geisert Reservoir <br /> 9.2. Legal Description: The Geisert Reservoir is located in Section 31, Township 6 <br /> North, Range 65 West of the 6th P.M. Weld County, Colorado. See Exhibit A, <br /> attached. <br /> 9.3. Name and capacity of ditches or structures used to fill reservoir and legal <br /> descriptions of point of diversion: Water will be delivered from the North bank <br /> of the Cache la Poudre River via a diversion structure to be constructed. The point <br /> of diversion will be located at the Northeast '/4 of the Southwest ''/4 of Section 31, <br /> Township 6 North, Range 65 West of the 6th P.M. Weld County, Colorado. An <br /> alternate location for the point of diversion will be at the Northwest '/4 of the <br /> Southeast '/4 of Section 31, Township 6 North, Range 65 West of the 6th P.M., <br /> Weld County, Colorado. See Exhibit A, attached. <br /> 9.4. Diversion Amount: 55 cfs conditional <br /> 9.5. Source: The Cache la Poudre River <br /> 9.6. Date of Appropriation: February 9, 2011 for the first 40 cfs diverted from either <br /> or a combination of both points of diversion described above and August 7, 2015 <br /> for an additional 15 cfs diverted from either or a combination of both points of <br /> diversion. <br /> 9.7. How appropriation was initiated: By actions of the Weld County <br /> Commissioners authorizing construction and installation of a slurry wall liner to <br /> create storage space for the first 40 cfs and the total volume of the Geisert Pit, and <br /> by filing of an amended application for the additional 15 cfs rate of diversion to <br /> fill and refill the reservoir. <br />
