Section 2.04.7(2) — Surface Water Information <br />The required information and maps were not submitted. The current rules require the following: a <br />description of the regional hydrology in reference to the permit area, a map in accordance with 2.10 <br />providing regional hydrological features and drainage areas, and an adequate characterization of surface <br />water quality and quantity for this section. Current hydrologic data in compliance with current rules will <br />need to be provided. <br />Prior to initiating any studies to comply with this Rule, more information regarding the proposed <br />operation will need to be submitted. The Division will need to know exactly where the proposed permit <br />area will be and where the mining operation and its associated facilities will exist within this area. <br />22. Section 2.04.7(3) — Alternate Water Supplies <br />The required information was not submitted. <br />23. Section 2.04.7(4) — Hydrology Map <br />The required information was not submitted. <br />24. Section 2.04.8 — Climatology <br />The required information was not submitted. Current climate data in compliance with current rules will <br />need to be provided. No relevant information was found in the former permit. <br />25. Section 2.04.9 — Soils Resource Information <br />The required information was not submitted. Some Soil Conservation Service Soils information was <br />included in the original application for the C-1976-014 application and the Conversion application. As <br />indicated above the proposed operation may not be within the originally affected area of the Healey Pit. <br />Regardless, soils resource information for the proposed new permit area will need to be submitted in <br />accordance with this rule. <br />26. Section 2.04.10 — Vegetation Information <br />The required information was not submitted. The coal regulations cited above stipulate the collection of <br />baseline vegetation information, as well as a survey of vegetation cover and species diversity, and the <br />establishment of an appropriate reference area for disturbed areas to be reclaimed to. <br />Prior to initiating any studies to comply with this Rule, more information regarding the proposed <br />operation will need to be submitted.
