Spring 2016 Subsidence and Geologic Field Observations <br />South of Divide and Dry Fork Mininq Areas <br />4.5.1 Location 2 <br />During the spring 2016 field visit to assess baseline conditions ahead of E -seam longwall mining <br />of Panel E6, cracking associated with a slump adjacent to the road was observed approximately <br />500 feet east of the MVB E6-10 pad. Figures 5 and 6 show the extent of the associated cracking <br />on the north side of the road at this location. It is unclear if the fill material in the road is moving <br />downslope to the north, compacting under its weight, or a combination of both. These features are <br />not associated with subsidence because mining had not yet occurred beneath this area at the time <br />of our spring 2016 field visit. <br />4.6 Traverse F -F' <br />Traverse F -F' allows access to MVBs E5-8 above mined E -seam Longwall Panel E5, as well as <br />access to E6-1/2/3 through E6-7 (see Map 1) above mined E -seam Longwall Panel E6.
