The pile appears stable and no problems were noted. <br /> <br />ROADS – Rule 4.03 <br />Construction 4.03.1(3)/4.03.2(3) <br />Drainage 4.03.1(4)/4.03.2(4) <br />Surfacing and Maintenance4.03.1(5) and (6)/4.03.2(5) and (6) <br />Reclamation 4.03.1(7)/4.03.2(7): <br /> The Division observed the haul roads and access roads at the site. Overall, the roads are graded and <br />maintained. Several maintenance items are noted below: <br /> The culvert under the haul road to the old stoker Coal Storage and Loadout area needs to be <br />cleaned out. Also Ditch E-1 that drains to Pond E is partially filled with sediment and cattails and <br />needs to be cleaned out. The ditch and culvert must be maintained to have adequate drainage in <br />accordance with Rule 4.03.1(4). According to Mr. Watterson, TC is bringing in a backhoe to <br />dredge out some of the ponds and sumps around the facilities area. When this activity is <br />completed TC will clean out the culvert and ditch. <br />RECLAMATION SUCCESS - Rule 4.15, Rule 3: <br /> There are no bond release applications currently pending for this site. Recent reclamation activities <br />include reseeding many of the Wolf Creek Reserve Corehole pads. See the General Compliance with Mine Plan <br />section of the report for details about the vegetation that had established at these pads. <br /> <br />REVEGETATION – Rule 4.15 <br />Vegetative Cover; Timing: <br /> During the inspection a weed control contractor was on site primarily in the main facilities area spraying <br />noxious weeds. White-top, Canada thistle, houndstongue and other weeds were being sprayed. <br /> <br />The Sagebrush Meadow and Pasture reference areas were observed. These areas were not disturbed. A few <br />Canada thistle patches were observed in the Sagebrush Meadow reference area. TC will need to conduct weed <br />control activities in the reference area. Little to no weeds were observed at the pasture reference area. <br /> <br />SUBSIDENCE – Rule 4.20: <br />The longwall is currently being moved from the Western Mining District to the Wolf Creek Reserve and <br />subsidence monitoring is not required at this time. Once mining begins in the WCR, TC will need to conduct <br />monitoring per the approved plan, <br /> <br />SLIDES and DAMAGE - Rule 4.12: <br /> The slump observed near the train loadout is discussed in the Support Facilities section of the report. <br /> <br />SUPPORT FACILITIES - Rule 4.04:
