Also the topsoil identification marker
is in need of repair.
o I missed checking this issue during the inspection. However, TC had a contractor on site
conducting maintenance and replacing signs and markers throughout the site. The
Division will evaluate this issue during the next inspection.
 TC must install topsoil identification markers on the topsoil piles along the access road and drill
pad for the 13LT Outby Utility Borehole.
o This item was addressed.
 The topsoil stockpile located adjacent to the rock dust tank located off County Road 27 north of
the main facilities area should be moved. Given where the pile is located, it appears rock dust has
a tendency to blow onto the pile. In accordance with Rule 4.06.3(2) topsoil stockpiles shall be
selectively placed on a stable surface area within the permit area, where they will not be disturbed
by mining operations and will be protected from wind and water erosion, unnecessary compaction
and contamination. Please move the pile, seed it and replace the topsoil identification marker.
o TC has placed two Jersey barriers in front of the pile to protect the pile. As this pile has
been at this location for many years the Division has reconsidered the necessity of moving
the pile. However the identification marker has been knocked down and will need to be
replaced.

Figure 4.
