Quality Assurance <br /> A. All work shall be constructed, monitored, and tested in compliance with the <br /> requirements of the Construction Quality Assurance Plan (Section01400.2). <br /> CONTRACTOR-and MANUFACTURER shall participate in and comply with all items in <br /> these SPECIFICATIONS and requirements of the CQA plan. <br /> B. CONTRACTOR shall ensure that each geogrid MANUFACTURER that supplies materials <br /> to this project has an internal product quality control program that meets <br /> SPECIFICATIONS. <br /> C. Geogrid rolls that do not meet the requirements of this SPECIFICATION will be <br /> rejected. CONTRACTOR shall replace the rejected material with new material that <br /> conforms to the SPECIFICATION requirements, at no additional cost to CC&V. <br /> 1.5. Delivery,Storage,and Handling <br /> A. Packing and Shipping <br /> 1. Labels on each roll delivered to Site shall identify the following. <br /> a. MANUFACTURER's name <br /> b. Product Identification <br /> c. Thickness <br /> d. Roll number <br /> e. Batch or lot number <br /> f. Roll dimensions <br /> 2. CONTRACTOR shall ensure that geogrid rolls are properly loaded and secured to <br /> prevent damage during transit. <br /> 3. CONTRACTOR shall protect geogrid from excessive heat, cold, puncture, cutting, <br /> or other damaging or deleterious conditions. <br /> 4. CONTRACTOR shall ensure personnel responsible for loading, transport, and <br /> unloading of geogrid are fully aware of the consequences of damage to geogrid, <br /> and are familiar with handling and transport constraints imposed by <br /> MANUFACTURER. <br /> 5. Geogrid delivered to the project shall be protected by a relatively impermeable <br /> and opaque protective cover, with individual straps for unloading. <br /> B.
