CQA Monitor shall perform inventory and surface inspection for defects and <br /> damage of all geogrid rolls upon delivery. <br /> 2. CONTRACTOR shall unroll and inspect any geogrid roll that may be damaged <br /> below surface. <br /> 3. CONTRACTOR shall repair damage resulting from handling and transport of <br /> geogrid at no additional cost to CC&V. If irreparable, in the opinion of CERTIFYING <br /> ENGINEER, damaged materials shall be replaced at no additional cost to CC&V. <br /> C. Storage and Protection <br /> 1. MANAGER will provide area for on-site storage of the geogrid rolls from time of <br /> delivery until installation. <br /> 2. The storage and handling of the materials is the responsibility of CONTRACTOR <br /> from the time the materials are manufactured until the time the completed <br /> installation is accepted. CONTRACTOR is responsible for preparing the storage <br /> location and for the protection of the materials from the elements (e.g. <br /> ultraviolet light, moisture, temperature, etc.). <br /> 3. After CONTRACTOR has removed material from storage, CONTRACTOR shall <br /> protect geogrid from puncture, dirt, grease, water, moisture, mud, mechanical <br /> abrasion, excessive heat, and other sources of damage. <br /> 4. CONTRACTOR shall preserve integrity and readability of the geogrid roll labels, <br /> and store the rolls such that MANAGER and CERTIFYING ENGINEER have access <br /> to the package slips or roll labels for each roll to verify roll acceptance. <br /> S. The rolls shall be stored on a prepared surface (not wooden pallets) and should <br /> not be stacked more than two rolls high. <br /> 2. PART 2: PRODUCTS <br /> 2.1. Materials <br /> A.
