Ames worked to clean the geomembrane of all
deleterious material prior to ECA performing repairs. Nondestructive testing was completed on
all repairs.
The geomembrane that is being repaired was placed at the end of 2015, and was left exposed
to potential damage over the winter. All damages are on geomembrane that was previously
approved for DCF placement. No new defects were marked; however, a NewFields
representative was present for all repair activities. When repair activities are complete,
NewFields personnel will inspect all of the exposed geomembrane prior to reapproving it for
DCF placement.
3.0 STORM WATER MANAGEMENT
Best Management Practices continued to be performed.
4.0 NEWFIELDS LABORATORY ACTIVITIES
NewFields personnel performed sieve analysis, atterberg limits, compaction and permeability
testing.
