Section 3.1.7 Groundwater-Specific Requirements. <br /> It is not anticipated that this operation will impact any groundwater. <br /> Section 3.1.8 Wildlife. <br /> There is no significant vegetation that contributes to wildlife habitat.The mining <br /> and reclamation plans have been designed to account for the safety and <br /> protection of wild life on the mine site. <br /> Section 3.1.9 Topsoiling. <br /> Topsoil will be removed an placed in areas where mining activities will not impact <br /> the material.The topsoil piles will be protected as needed so as to be available <br /> when needed. <br /> Section 3.1.10 Revegetation. <br /> The site will be reclaimed using the seed mix as noted, and depending on some <br /> natural revegetation to help with the process, which to date we have seen some <br /> that has occurred.The site will be be returned to how it was before mining. <br /> Section 3.1.11 Buildings and Structures. <br /> No buildings or structures are impacted by this proposal. <br /> Section 3.1.12 Signs and Markers. <br /> Appropriate signage will be posted at the entrance of the mine site. Also traffic <br /> and other signs needed for the safety and operation of the site will be posted <br /> at the appropriate places so as to inform customers,visitors and employees <br /> about certain rules and regulations. <br /> ( d ) Plans for topsoil segregation, preservation and replacement,for stabilization, <br /> compaction and grading of soil and for revegetation. <br /> Topsoil will be placed in areas so as to be protected from mining operations until <br /> needed. The topsoil will be then be placed on the slopes and the mine floor at a <br /> depth of 2" by the use of scapers, loaders and blades. Final grading will create <br /> a topograghy that is appropriate for the final land use.The topsoil will be keyed <br /> to the underlying material by the use of harrows, rollers or other equipment <br /> suitable for this purpose.The site will be revegetated in such a manner so as to <br /> establish a diverse, effective and long lasting cover that is capable of self <br /> regeneration without dependence on irrigation or fertilizer and is at least equal <br /> in extent to the natural vegetation of the area. <br /> (e ) A plan or schedule indicating how and when reclamation will be implemented. <br /> Include: <br /> Page 7 <br />
