The channel itself is <br />14' wide after lining and varies in depth from 1.9 feet to 2.8 feet for segment 6, including <br />freeboard. <br />Sediment Control System <br />Reclamation of the Sediment Control System (Sediment Ponds 001 and 002 and the <br />attendant ditches) involved the following tasks undertaken between December2008 and <br />May 2009: <br />1) Removed or buried corrugated metal pipe discharge pipes from both sediment ponds. <br />1) Replaced topsoil from the adjacent Topsoil Stockpile #8 into Sediment Pond 001 and <br />diversion and collection ditches. This task was accomplished with tracked excavator and <br />articulated dump truck team. <br />2) Removed and respread the berm from Sediment Pond 002. <br />3) Regraded and finish graded the areaswith a motor graderor skid steer. <br />4) Regraded and spread the topsoil.Topsoil for Sediment Pond 002 was salvaged from <br />that accumulated behind the former pond embankment. <br />5) Seeded and mulched the all reclaimed areasas described in the revegetation plan. <br />Abridged Permit Document 5-11 Permit Renewal RN04 4/2014 <br />
