CRIPPLE CREEK &VICTOR GOLD MINING Co. <br /> ANGLOGOLD ASHANTI (COLORADO) amec <br /> SQUAW GULCH (VLF)WEEKLY REPORT foster <br /> wheeler <br /> Secondary Underdrain: No work was performed during this reporting period. <br /> Tertiary Underdrain: No work was performed during this reporting period. <br /> Leak Detection: No work was performed during this reporting period. <br /> Miscellaneous: <br /> • Fusion welding of 10" HDPE DR11 ADR2 water line pipe and 10" HDPE FM200 pipe <br /> • Extended the PSSA High Volume riser pipes approximately 10' <br /> • Began the pumping of residual water from the Low Volume Solution Control System riser <br /> pipes—approximately 44,750 gallons was pumped during the reporting period <br /> • Began the excavation of the water line trench, starting at the ADR2 security pad, <br /> proceeding towards the ADR2 pad. Observed the placement and compaction of select <br /> pipe bedding fill material <br /> • One skid steer loader and labor crew continued to removed rocks and debris from the <br /> 9450 elevation bench in the vicinity of stations A2+00 through Al2+00 in preparation for <br /> phase 1 sub-grade acceptance <br /> • Areas of the exposed LLDPE liner along the edge of the PSSA anchor trench that were <br /> damaged during active construction activities, in preparation of subgrade approval, were <br /> repaired by the placement of extrusion welded patches and beads, and non-destructively <br /> tested and approved prior to subsequent SLF placement in the area. <br /> B) Underground Workings: <br /> UG #6639: Sandvik 700 completed confirmatory drilling (1,460LF)-1 A Cat 345 excavator& a <br /> Cat D7 dozer removed shot rock in preparation for geogrid foundation; Additional drill access was <br /> provided. Remediation to be continued. <br /> UG#6631: Subgrade acceptance performed for geogrid. Two layers of geogrid placed. <br /> Completed the placement of select structural fill over both geogrid layers. Smooth drum vibratory <br /> roller compacted the placed select structural fill per project specifications. Remediation to be <br /> continued. <br /> UG#6010: Completed placement and compaction of select structural fill over first layer of <br /> geogrid. Installed second layer of geogrid. Placed and compacted Select Structural Fill over the <br /> second layer of geogrid per the project specifications. Remediated. Structural Fill required. <br /> UG#6269: First 6" lift of select structural fill was placed and compacted. Completed the <br /> placement of the second layer of geogrid. Placed and compacted second lift of Select Structural <br /> Fill per project specifications. Remediated. Structural Fill required. <br /> UG#6133: A Cat 345 excavator excavated suspected shaft to approximately 20'. A Cat 345 <br /> excavator and Cat 330 hammer prepared for concrete plug. Remediation to be continued. <br /> UG#6668: A Cat 330 excavated to competent rock at approximately 30'. Remediation to be <br /> continued. <br /> UG#6547: A Cat 330 excavated to approximately 20' deep—no bottom found. Prepared for drill <br /> access. Sandvik 700 track drill completed confirmatory drilling. Will prepare for concrete plug. <br /> Remediation to be continued. <br />
