1.
CRIPPLE CREEK & VICTOR GOLD MINING Co.
ANGLOGOLD ASHANTI (COLORADO) amec
SQUAW GULCH (VLF) WEEKLY REPORT foster
wheeler
road between approximately stations L6+00 and L10+00, Squaw Gulch between approximately
stations L6+00 and L10+00, and in the vicinity of the PSSA toe berm.
A Cat 330 excavator with attached rock hammer was used to break up oversized Structural Fill
material.
The Structural Fill material was placed and compacted per the project specifications.
One JD 670G excavator rough graded the Phase 2 slopes upslope of approximately stations
M30+00 through M38+00.
GPS equipped D6 dozers finish graded the slopes downslope of access road stations 86+00
through 88+00, the slopes upslope of stations L8+00 and L10+00, and the PSSA toe berm/ADR
access ramp
One dozer rough graded the slopes in the general vicinity between stations H28+00 and J10+00.
Subgrade:
The following Phase 1 subgrade area was compacted per project technical specifications to
finished grade, inspected, and certified for SLF placement:
Between approximate stations A2+00 to Al2+00 and C2+00 to C12+00.
See attachment for the subgrade acceptance map for all accepted subgrade locations.
Soil Liner Fill:
Soil Liner Fill (SLF) processing continued periodically at the Cameron Site.
Began the haul and placement of the SLF material at the end of the reporting period. One
excavator loaded multiple Cat 740 haul trucks with the SLF material from the Midway stockpile.
The material was placed on the A bench (9,450 elevation) between approximately stations A2+00
through Al2+00. The SLF was spread in a horizontal lift using one Cat D6 dozer. The material
was not being placed as an engineered compacted SLF at this point in time but rather being
stockpiled along the bench for future placement and compaction on the slope above the A bench.
Spent Ore:
Front-end loaders loaded Cat 740 haul trucks with previously stockpiled Spent Ore from the east
quadrant of the PSSA. The material was hauled approximately 800' south within the PSSA
footprint and spread with Cat Dozers in an approximately 20' lift to finish the 150' horizontal
distance north and east of the HVSCS riser pipes on the ADR2 platform.
A GPS equipped D6 dozer finish graded the area north of the PSSA's High Volume Solution
Collection System riser pipes.
One Cat D6 dozer graded an area in the vicinity of the east quadrant of the PSSA for a future
LLDPE liner laydown yard.
Underdrain System:
Primary Underdrain: Complete.
