Submission of NPDES discharge monitoring reports. <br />Permit sections 2.05.3(3) entitled Mine Facilities, and 2.05.6(3) entitled Protection of <br />Hydrologic Balance and their associated attachments. <br />4.05.3()-(7) Conveyance of Flow of Watersheds Less than One Sq. Mile <br />It appears that no watersheds of one square mile or less have been specifically called out for <br />diversions or flow conveyance in the permit. <br />4.05.4(l)-(4) Stream Channel Diversions <br />No streams have been diverted, therefore; this rule does not apply to the New Horizon permit. <br />4.05.5(l)-(2) Sediment Control <br />Sections 2.05.3(3) entitled Mine Facilities; and 2.05.6(3) entitled Protection of Hydrologic Balance and <br />their associated attachments in the permit address descriptions, designs and plans for surface water <br />structures adequately meeting the requirements of rule 4.05.5. <br />4.05.6 O-(7) Sediment Ponds <br />This is a review of the requirements for sediment pond construction, design and maintenance and <br />includes a review of the sediment pond as built designs, and maintenance procedures. <br />DRMS finds that as the mine is in reclamation, ponds have been reclaimed or retained with the <br />exception of Ponds 7, 8, 9, 12 and 13 which are currently active ponds. Sections 2.05.3(3) entitled <br />Mine Facilitie; and 2.05.6(3) entitled, Protection of Hydrologic Balance and their associated <br />attachments in the permit address descriptions, designs and plans for surface water structures <br />adequately meeting the requirements of rules 2.05.3 and 4.05.4. <br />4.05.7 Discharge Structures <br />Sections 2.05.3(3) entitled Mine Facilities; and 2.05.6(3) entitled, Protection of Hydrologic Balance <br />and their associated attachments in the permit address descriptions, designs and plans for surface <br />water structures adequately meeting the requirements of this rule. <br />Rule: 4.05.9 ()-(21) Impoundments <br />Sections 2.05.3(3) entitled Mine Facilities; and 2.05.6(3) entitled, Protection of Hydrologic Balance <br />and their associated attachments in the permit address descriptions, designs and plans for surface <br />water structures adequately meeting the requirements of this rule. <br />Rule: 4.05.13 (2) Surface and Ground Water Monitoring <br />This is a review of surface monitoring requirements and includes a review of the monitoring plan and <br />reporting requirements. <br />The monitoring information and reporting requirements required by Rule 4.05.13 have been <br />adequately met and include: <br />New Horizon Mid Term Review Prepared by: R.
