Hydrologic Monitoring Plan (as per TR68) in section 2.05.6 of the permit. <br />Rule 4.17 Air Resource Protection <br />This is a review of how surfaces are stabilized and protected from wind erosion and attendant air <br />pollution. <br />The Division finds that the proposed activities will not materially damage the air quality or <br />cause erosion as per Rules 4.17, and that procedures outlined in Section 2.05.6(3) adequately <br />address surface stabilization. <br />Rule 4.24 Alluvial Valley Floors <br />This is a review of the environmental protection performance of mining operations affecting alluvial <br />valley floors and the standards to preserve hydrologic functions, agricultural uses and productivity of <br />alluvial valley floors. <br />DRMS concludes that no alluvial valley floors have been identified in the permit. This rule therefore <br />does not apply. Proposed activities will not materially damage the quantity or quality of water in <br />the surface water system as per Rules 4.24 and 2.06.8(5)(a)(ii). <br />New Horizon Mid Term Review Prepared by: R.
