The contractor indicated that <br />he would go and clean the culvert when he had finished his current project. <br />PROCESSING WASTE/COAL MINE WASTE PILES — Rule 4.10 and 4.11 <br />Drainage Control; Surface Stabilization; Placement: <br />The western embankment of the original refuse disposal area was observed. Minor rills were observed but large <br />gullies were not observed. <br />TC has nearly completed the 2nd bench of refuse placement in the CRDA expansion area. In preparation for <br />refuse disposal expansion, TC has begun to strip topsoil on the east side of the refuse pile near the current topsoil <br />stockpile. Area 1 Pond and Pond <br />D. <br />SUPPORT FACILITIES - Rule 4.04: <br />The material storage area at the old Brown Palace area was observed. TC will need to monitor the embankment <br />for non -coal waste that has rolled away from the storage area. All non -coal waste needs to be disposed of in the <br />approved designated disposal area on site. <br />The train loadout area was observed. The buffer zone adjacent to Foidel Creek appears to be maintained. The <br />following maintenance item was observed. <br />• The culvert on the south side of the rail spur near the loadout is about'/2 full on the inlet side and should <br />be cleaned out.
