November 9, 2015 C-1982-056/Foidel Creek Mine JLE <br />o The head -cut along RDA -lb ditch has not been repaired at this time. However, the area does not <br />appear to have changed significantly since the last inspection. This item remains outstanding. <br />• The newly stripped topsoil adjacent to the 2nd bench of the CRDA expansion will need to be shaped in a <br />more stable configuration and marked with a topsoil identification marker. <br />o The topsoil stockpile on the west side of the CRDA expansion area has been shaped into a more <br />stable configuration and marked. TC should place some erosion control waddles around the pile <br />to help contain sediment and to separate the pile from the refuse being placed in the area. <br />Figure 2. Topsoil stockpile adjacent to CRDA Bench 2 Expansion on northwest side. <br />• A new gully has formed on the reclaimed slope above the Fish Creek Tipple pond. The site should be <br />repaired and stabilized. <br />o This item is outstanding. Due to the recent snow storm, the erosion gullied observed above the <br />Fish Creek Tipple Pond were not repaired. If conditions allow, the erosion gullies will need to be <br />repaired. <br />• The Division has not received proof of compliance (abandonment reports) for the following coreholes: <br />WC -026E, WC -026F, WC -026G, WC -027, WC -029, WC -2613, WC -028 and WC -006. hi accordance <br />with Rule 4.07.3(3) TC must submit proof of compliance reports within 60 days after abandoning the drill <br />hole. <br />o These wells have been sealed. According to Mr. Watterson, he is working on completing these <br />abandonment reports. <br />• The culvert at the access road leading to the Rock Dust Tank north of the main facilities area north of <br />County Road 27 needs to be cleaned out. <br />o This item has been addressed. <br />• The ditch along haul road C near the railway crossing has been cleaned and rock checks have been <br />installed. The culvert from the repaired roadside ditch under the railway tracks is 3/4 full of sediment and <br />should be cleaned out. <br />o The inlet to the culvert has been cleaned out; however, the outlet was not cleaned out. The outlet <br />to the culvert will need to be cleaned. Mr. Watterson and I discussed this issue with a one of the <br />Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 3 <br />Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 2 <br />Page 4 of 7 <br />
