November 9, 2015 C-1982-056/Foidel Creek Mine JLE
This issue was discussed with Mr. Watterson and he indicated that they would place some rock at the
discharging end of the culvert to help stabilize the area.
The explosives storage area and material storage area was observed. No problems were noted.
TC is continuing the installation of the 5 -Main North pipeline. It appears the CMP manholes has been
installed north and south of the 6 -Main North Reservoir.
The 5 -Main North Cement Borehole was observed. The drainage ditch on the southeast side of the pad
appears stable but sediment has collected behind the erosion control waddles installed at the base of the pad.
TC will need to monitor this area and may need to clean/remove the sediment behind the waddles if it begins
to overtop the waddles.
TOPSOIL — Rule 4.06
Removal 4.06.2; Substitute Materials 4.06.4(4); Storage and Protection 4.06.3; Redistribution 4.06.4:
TC has created a new topsoil stockpile area for the CRDA. The access road to the pad area has been created
and it appears topsoil stripped from the access road has been placed in a berm adjacent to the road. TC is
actively placing topsoil in the new storage area. The following maintenance item was observed.
• Please place erosion control waddles downslope of the topsoil stockpiles adjacent to the road and the pad
area. Also, the topsoil stockpiled adjacent to the road will need to be shaped into a more stable
configurations and topsoil identification markers will need to be placed on the pile adjacent to the road.
Once the new stockpile has been constructed it will also need to be marked with a topsoil identification
marker.
Figure 4.
