DRMS 02/18: <br /> The Division understands that GCC Energy, LLC is currently pursuing <br />a Class II Special Use Permit through La Plata County. Please revise Sections 2.03.10 of <br />the permit to include the identification number of the Class II Special Use Permit <br />application in accordance with Rule 2.03.10(3). <br />DRMS 06/14 <br />: Information about the county permit process was provided, as requested. <br />This item has been satisfactorily addressed <br />. <br /> <br /> ..(New) DRMS 06/14 <br />a.: The discussion on the Emission Permit does not mention that <br />Final Approval of Modification 1 to Permit No. 09LP0202F was issued on 9/3/2013. <br />Please revise the date of issuance and expiration date1 if appropriate. If the <br />expiration date (5/21/2015) did not change please provide an explanation of the <br />current status of the mine emissions permit. <br /> <br />King I & II, Sections 2.03.10 were originally updated as requested to include the La Plata County <br />Class II Special Land Use Permit application number. The Air Emission Permit issue and <br />expiration dates are on the same page and were overlooked. Sections 2.03.10 have been updated to <br />included actual Air Emission Permit issue and expiration dates. <br /> <br />This item has been satisfactorily addressed. <br /> <br />2.04.7 Hydrology Description <br />a. (New) DRMS 06/14: <br /> The King I and II permit text (Sections 2.04.7 Hydrology <br />Description) has not been expanded to incorporate a discussion of the updated well <br />information. As an example, the permit is silent on the wells from the Vista de Oro <br />subdivision. With respect to King I, there appear to be more wells in the vicinity <br />(downgradient) than there once were. Please update the 2.04.7 Groundwater Hydrology <br />discussion for King I and King II as appropriate. <br /> <br />A geo-hydrologist has been retained by GCC Energy to review groundwater hydrology as it <br />applies to CDRMS and OSMRE current and future permit areas. This report, as well as updated <br />Sections 2.04.7, will be forwarded to the Division upon completion. <br /> <br />DRMS 10/21/2015: <br /> I have the Summary of Analytical Activities in Response to <br />Neighborhood Comments. This was updated 8 May 2014. I also have the Proposed <br />Sampling Protocol for proposed sampling procedures.
