October 19, 2015 C-1982-056/Foidel Creek Mine JLE <br />• The Division has not received proof of compliance (abandonment reports) for the following coreholes: <br />WC -026E, WC -026F, WC -026G, WC -027, WC -029, WC -2613, WC -028 and WC -006. In accordance <br />with Rule 4.07.3(3)TC must submit proof of compliance reports within 60 days after abandoning the drill <br />hole. <br />o According to Mr. Watterson, TC is working on completing these abandonment reports. <br />• The culvert at the access road leading to the Rock Dust Tank north of the main facilities area north of <br />County Road 27 needs to be cleaned out. <br />o This item remains outstanding and needs to be addressed. <br />• Debris was observed in the ditch north of the access road that leads to the eastern most equipment <br />storage/laydown area near the culvert due east of the Emerald Springs Pump House. <br />o This item had not been addressed; however, a crew was doing some work in the equipment <br />storage area near the site in question and Mr. Nettleton requested they clean out the ditch. The <br />crew began to clean out the ditch. <br />Ee <br />Figure 2. Crew cleaning out the ditch adjacent to the equipment storage area near the <br />Emerald Spring Pump House. <br />• A culvert under access road A to the refuse pile is half full of sediment and needs to be cleaned out. <br />o This item appears to be resolved. <br />• The ditch along haul road C near the railway crossing has been cleaned and rock checks have been <br />installed. The culvert from the repaired roadside ditch under the railway tracks is 3/4 full of sediment and <br />should be cleaned out. <br />o The inlet to the culvert has been cleaned out; however, the outlet was not cleaned out. The outlet <br />to the culvert will need to be cleaned. This item remains outstanding. <br />PROCESSING WASTE/COAL MINE WASTE PILES — Rule 4.10 and 4.11 <br />Drainage Control; Surface Stabilization; Placement: <br />The Operator was actively stockpiling coal waste on the CRDA. TC believes that they will be able to complete <br />the 2nd bench of the CRDA expansion area possibly before the end of the year. Recently stripped topsoil on the <br />west side of the CRDA was observed.
