October 19, 2015 C-1982-056/Foidel Creek Mine JLE <br />Pond D was holding water and discharging. The embankment was stable and the primary and emergency spillway <br />was clear and functional. <br />Pond C was damp but was not discharging. The embankment was stable the primary and emergency spillway was <br />clear and functional. <br />Pond E was holding water but was not discharging. The primary and emergency spillway was clear and <br />functional. The embankment was stable. <br />Pond F was holding water but was not discharging. The primary and emergency spillway was clear and <br />functional. The embankment was stable. <br />Pond G was holding water but was not discharging. The primary and emergency spillway was clear and <br />functional. The embankment was stable. The repairs made to the flume appear to be holding up. <br />GENERAL MINE PLAN COMPLIANCE: <br />The truck loadout was active during the inspection. <br />TC will need to address the following maintenance item: <br />• -WC013 corehole has been sealed and needs to be marked with a marker. <br />OTHER (SPECIFY): <br />Several maintenance items were noted in previous DRMS inspections. A discussion of the status of each of these <br />items is discussed below: <br />• The culvert at the intersection of Routt County Road 33 and the 6MN ventilation shaft access road is about <br />3/4 full of sediment and needs to be cleaned out. <br />o This item is resolved. <br />• The head -cut in the RDA -lb drainage needs to be repaired and stabilized. <br />o This issue was discussed with Mr. Nettleton and repairs will be made. This item remains <br />outstanding. <br />• The newly stripped topsoil adjacent to the 2nd bench of the RDA will need to be shaped in a more stable <br />configuration and marked with a topsoil identification marker. <br />o The topsoil identification marker is in place. The pile has not been reconfigured or moved. TC <br />may be able to replace to topsoil on the face of the 2nd bench in the near future. See the discussion <br />below regarding the CRDA area for more details. <br />• A new gully has formed on the reclaimed slope above the Fish Creek Tipple pond.
