October 19, 2015 C-1982-056/Foidel Creek Mine JLE <br />were stable. <br />The 6MN reservoir is holding water. The emergency spillway was clear and functional and the embankment was <br />vegetated and stable. <br />The 6MN Ventilation Shaft sediment pond was holding water but was not discharging. The embankment was <br />stable and vegetated. The primary and emergency spillway was clear and functional. <br />The 18LT ponds were dry and not discharging. The embankments were stable and the primary and emergency <br />spillways were clear and functional. <br />The Fish Creek Borehole site 115 was not discharging. The former ventilation shaft on the southeast side of the <br />Fish Creek Borehole pad area has been converted to a well and the well is leaking water from a valve. The water <br />drains into a ditch that eventually discharges at site 115. Water leaking from the well did not reach site 115. Mr. <br />Nettleton discussed the leak with one of the surface engineers at the site and they will evaluate the repairs that are <br />necessary. <br />Figure 1. The pond embankment was stable and vegetated and the spillway was <br />clear and functional. <br />Pond T was holding a small amount of water. A significant amount of cattails have established in the pond and <br />should be removed. A small amount of water was discharging at the weir of the pond. The emergency spillway is <br />clear and functional. <br />The Area 1 Pond was holding water.
