TC is currently evaluating the need of this pad and the area may be reclaimed. <br />The WMD Stabilization Borehole Site was observed. The area is vegetated and stable. The topsoil pile is <br />vegetated and stable. <br />The 18LT Borehole pad was observed. The area was stable and no problems were noted. The topsoil stockpile <br />was vegetated and stable. <br />The 15LT BoreholeNentilation shaft pad was observed. The pad is currently holding pond cleaning sediment. <br />No problems were observed. <br />The Fish Creek Borehole was observed. The three cell ponds were holding water but the water treatment plant is <br />not currently in use. Site 115 was not discharging. A water well and pump is located southeast of the treatment <br />ponds. The pump was running and water was leaking from the well. This water runs into a ditch which eventually <br />leads to the 115 discharge point. The water was not reaching the discharge point. TC will need to monitor this <br />and should repair this leak as there is not a treatment facility in place downstream of this well. <br />OTHER: <br />The following maintenance items were noted during previous DRMS inspections, these items were evaluated and <br />a discussion of their status is below: <br />• The Division has not received proof of compliance (abandonment reports) for the following coreholes: <br />WC -026E, WC -026F, WC -026G, WC -027, WC -029, WC -26B, WC -028 and WC -006. In accordance <br />with Rule 4.07.3(3)TC must submit proof of compliance reports within 60 days after abandoning the drill <br />hole. <br />o According to Mr. Watterson, TC is working on completing these abandonment reports. <br />• The inlet to the 6MN ventilation shaft sediment pond is eroding and needs to be repaired. <br />o This item has been addressed. The diversion ditch leading to the pond has been cleaned out and <br />check dams and waddles have been cleaned out on upstream side. <br />• The culvert at the access road leading to the Rock Dust Tank north of the main facilities area north of <br />County Road 27 needs to be cleaned out. <br />o This item remains outstanding and needs to be addressed. <br />• Debris was observed in the ditch north of the access road that leads to the eastern most equipment <br />storage/laydown area near the culvert due east of the Emerald Springs Pump House. <br />o This item remains outstanding <br />• The wash plant/overland conveyor truck turnout culvert needs to be cleaned out. <br />o This item has been addressed. <br />• Coal has been pushed into a portion of the ditch on the west side of the BOB pile above the "buffer zone" <br />signs.
