(a) Specify estimated dates that mining will commence and end
Proposed date for mining commencement is August 15, 2015 with end date on or
before July 1, 2025.
(b) Estimated depth of soil
All topsoil above bedrock which is estimated <49 inches will be stockpiled and
preserved. Topsoil is to be stockpiled as shown in Exhibit E Map Number 2. The
topsoil is placed in a large rectangular structure built on-site that would measure
roughly 20' x 40' x 3' to 4' height. Bottom of structure lined with a rubber membrane
plus top soil covered by tarp(s) during non -activity at mine.
As part of the mining plan the topsoil removed will be replaced from original position
within 180 days of removal with the exception during winter months.
(c) Overburden thickness is estimated at <49 inches
Waste rock in overburden will be removed and placed in area next to vein during
excavation period then reburied. Vein trench begins immediately at bedrock. Waste
rock storage area is shown on Exhibit E Map Number 2. Wall and waste rock is
placed in a large rectangular structure built on-site that would measure roughly 20' x
40' x 3' to 4' height. Bottom of structure lined with a rubber membrane plus wall /
waste rock covered by tarp(s) during non -activity at mine.
(d) Thickness of deposit to be mined
The primary vein values varies from 6 inches to 3 feet in width according to historical
records.
Primary means to access vein material is an excavator. The limiting factor of ability
to access vein depth is reach of excavator that is near 20 feet to 30 feet maximum
depth. Estimated width of area excavated is 6 feet to 10 feet as noted on Exhibit E
Map Number 2.
(e) Major components of mining operation
• Mining road connecting from Ute Creek Rd. to location of vein as shown in
Exhibit E Map 1. Road dimension to EMSHA requirements of 20 feet.
• 10 x 24 Storage Shipping Container.
• Processing facilities shown in Exhibit E Map Number 3:
o Trailer Mounted Jaw Crusher with up to 2 tons / hr. capacity.
Teton Drilling, Inc.
Dixie Mine - Clear Creek County, CO
