This crew was observed throughout the site during
the inspection. Whitetop, houndstongue and various types of thistle were observed throughout the site. It appears
TC is implementing their weed control plan. Whitetop appears to be a significant problem around the mine
facilities area. The substation No. 4 area and the old "Brown Palace" area have a significant patch of
houndstongue established and will need to be treated.
mr
Figure 8. Weed control spraying on topsoil stockpile near the O -Entry Fan.
The Fish Creek Tipple area was observed. Weed control needs to be conducted throughout the reclaimed area.
Vegetation has germinated throughout the site; however it is sparse in areas.
