CRIPPLE CREEK & VICTOR GOLD MINING Co. <br />ANGLOGOLD ASHANTI (COLORADO) amec <br />SQUAW GULCH (VLF) WEEKLY REPORT foster <br />wheeler <br />Miscellaneous: <br />Amec personnel continued LVSCS pump monitoring and observation. <br />Geomembrane was cut and removed between panels 103 and 114 to expose underground <br />springs eroding the SLF and Subgrade. A Cat 330 excavator removed unsuitable material and <br />loaded it into Cat 740 haul trucks to be discarded. The existing tertiary underdrain will be <br />extended to capture a newly discovered spring and funnel the ground water into the primary and <br />secondary underdrains. <br />B) Underground Workings: <br />UG #6050: Confirmatory and production drill holes were blasted. A John Deere 670 excavator <br />removed shot rock in preparation for geogrid subgrade. Further remediation required. <br />UG #6004: A Cat 330 remediated a portion of the adit extending into the slope. A Cat D8 dozer <br />provided additional drill access above the remaining portion of the adit that could not be <br />excavated. Continued drilling operations, 3,500LF. Further remediation required. <br />Anaconda Mine Complex: Step 4: The first layer of geogrid was installed. Completed placement <br />and compaction of the Select Structural Fill material. Further remediation required. <br />UG #6588: The first and second layers of geogrid were installed. Placement of the Select <br />Structural Fill material was completed. Further remediation required. <br />UG #6004: Continued drilling operations, 3,5001-F. Further remediation required. <br />1 Sandvik 700 track drill = 10.5 hours, 1,350LF; 1 Sandvik 800 track drill = 7.0 hours, 13501-F. <br />UG #6455: Continued drilling operations, 1,2501-F. Further remediation required. <br />UG #6576: Cat dozers placed structural fill over the completed geogrid. A Cat smooth drum <br />roller compacted the fill area per project specifications. <br />II) Storm Water Management <br />Best Management Practices (BMPs) continued to be performed. <br />
