I_ <br />CRIPPLE CREEK & VICTOR GOLD MINING Co. 4 <br />ANGLOGOLD ASHANTI (COLORADO) amec <br />SQUAW GULCH (VLF) WEEKLY REPORT foster <br />wheeler <br />Cat smooth drum rollers compacted subgrade between the FF bench and the perimeter road. <br />Cat dozers began finish grading the slope beneath the ball mill. <br />Cat excavators and dozers reworked the DD bench to repair the saturated subgrade with suitable <br />structural fill material. <br />All of the above Structural Fill material was placed, compacted, and graded per the project plans <br />and specifications. <br />Subgrade: <br />Subgrade was accepted in the areas shown on the attached figure. <br />Soil Liner Fill: <br />Cat 740 haul trucks hauled SLF from the Phase 1 stockpile. GPS equipped Cat dozers placed <br />SLF material between the C and E benches and the DD and FF benches on approved subgrade. <br />The above activities were performed per the project plans and specifications. <br />Drain Cover Fill: <br />None. <br />Underdrain System: <br />Primary Underdrain: Complete. <br />Secondary Underdrain: No activity. <br />Tertiary Underdrain: Construction of several tertiary underdrains began between <br />stations A14+00 and A18+00. Activity was in accordance with <br />project plans and specifications. <br />Leak Detection: <br />No activity. <br />Miscellaneous: <br />Amec personnel continued LVSCS pump monitoring and observation. <br />Rip rap was placed in the fabric lined Phase 2 Surface Water Diversion Channel between stations <br />S39+00 and S44+00 per project plans and specifications. <br />A Cat excavator excavated a trench for underground utilities near the security pad. <br />B) Underground Workings: <br />UG #6685: Excavated approximately 4 feet into native ground. No evidence of mining activity. <br />The site was backfilled per project specifications. Remediated. <br />UG #6686: Excavated approximately 25 feet into native ground. No evidence of mining activity. <br />
