If the earthen berm will be removed upon final reclamation, then please remove the berm <br />from the Reclamation Plan Map. <br />6.4.8 Exhibit G — Water Information <br />29. The Operator has stated that groundwater systems will not be impacted by the mining <br />operation. Please specify the depth to groundwater in the amended area. <br />6.4.9 Exhibit H — Wildlife Information <br />No comment. <br />6.4.10 Exhibit I — Soils Information <br />30. Exhibit I states there is between 2' to 3' of topsoil between the west ridge and the east side of <br />the site. The Reclamation Plan calls for replacing topsoil at a depth of 2" to 3". Please clarify <br />this discrepancy. <br />6.4.11 Exhibit J — Vegetation Information <br />31. During the inspection conducted on April 23, 2015 the Division observed Diffuse Knapweed <br />along- portions of the haul road leading to the overburden stockpile in the northeast corner of <br />the site. Pursuant to Rule 3.1.10(6), methods of weed control shall be employed for all <br />prohibited noxious weeds species. Diffuse knapweed is listed on the Colorado Noxious Weed <br />List. Therefore, the Operator must submit a weed control plan with the following <br />information: <br />a) A list of potential species of noxious weeds that occurs on the site. <br />b) A description of the various control measures that will be employed such as <br />mechanical, chemical, biological or cultural control. <br />c) Submit a monitoring plan that describes how often the operator will monitor the site <br />for noxious weeds and what action will occur if noxious weeds are observed. <br />d) A post-treatment monitoring plan to determine control effectiveness. <br />e) A commitment to follow the Weed Control Plan for the life of the mine. <br />(The Operator may wish to contact Larimer County Weed District for assistance in <br />developing a Weed Control Plan. Additional information for the Larimer County Weed <br />District may be found at: http://www.larimer.org/weedsn <br />6.4.11 Exhibit K — Climate <br />No comment. <br />
