CRIPPLE CREEK & VICTOR GOLD MINING Co. <br />ANGLOGOLD ASHANTI (COLORADO) amec <br />SQUAW GULCH (VLF) WEEKLY REPORT foster <br />wheeler <br />Phase 1 and Phase 2 slope grading activities occurred throughout the reporting period in multiple <br />areas of the VLF, generally using GPS equipped D6 dozers, Cat D7 dozers, and Cat D8 dozers. <br />Grading activities generally occurred in the following areas: <br />Phase 1 slopes between the L bench and the ADR2 haul road in the vicinity of stations L10 +00 <br />through L11 +00 and access road stationing 88 +00; <br />Phase 1 slopes between the F and H benches in the vicinity of stations F28 +00 through F28 +r 5 <br />and H28 +00 and H30 +00; <br />Phase 1 slopes between the C and E benches upslope of approximately stations C8 +00 through <br />C14 +00; <br />Phase 1 slopes between the E and G benches in the vicinity of stations E6 +00 through E12 +00 <br />and G4 +00 G6 +00; <br />Phase 1 slopes between the H bench and the PSSA access road in the vicinity of stations <br />H18 +00 through H24 +00 and the PSSA access road stationing 62 +00 through 65 +00. <br />Phase 2 slopes between the M and N benches in the vicinity of stations M36 +00 through M40-100 <br />and N14 +00 through N20 +00; <br />Phase 2 slopes upslope of PSSA access road stations 82 +00 through 86 +00 to the VLF pad <br />limits; <br />Phase 2 slopes between the I and M benches in the vicinity of stations 112 +00 through 118 +00 <br />and M2 +00 through M8 +00; <br />Phase 2 slopes between the M and N benches in the vicinity of stations M46 +00 through M484 00 <br />and N24 +00 through N28 +00. <br />All of the above grading activities were performed per the project plans and specifications. <br />Subgrade: <br />There was no subgrade accepted during the reporting period. <br />Soil Liner Fill: <br />Soil Liner Fill (SLF) processing continued periodically at the Cameron Site. <br />Continued the haul and placement of the SLF material during the first half of the reporting period. <br />One excavator loaded multiple Cat 740 haul trucks with the SLF material from the Midway <br />stockpile. The material was placed on the A bench (9,450 elevation) between approximately <br />stations A2 +00 through Al2 +00. The SLF was then spread in diagonal fingers up the slope <br />between the A and C benches using one Cat D6 dozer. The material was not being placed as an <br />engineered compacted SLF at this point in time but rather being stockpiled in the fingers and <br />along the bench for future placement and compaction and Leak Detection trench construction <br />access. <br />
