SCHLOSSER, INC. <br />REGULAR 112 PERMIT APPLICATION, <br />SCHLOSSER PIT I <br />i <br />EXHIBIT E - RECLAMATION PLAN <br />(a) Reclamation Areas <br />The permit area consists of 80 acres. The affected area of the permit area is 50 acres. <br />There is a 40 foot buffer region between the areas of excavation and the permit <br />boundary (see the Reclamation Plan Map on page F -2). <br />This permit area will be worked in two phases. The initial phase will incorporate the <br />area from the west side of the existing excavation to'Ithe eastern permit boundary in <br />affected area. The phase one area will be 20 acres with 10 acres being mined and phase <br />two will consist of 30 acres with 20 acres being mined. <br />The areas of these two phases is shown on the Mine Plan Map on page C -5. The areas <br />included in phase two will not we used until all of the area in phase one is reclaimed. <br />No disturbance will occur in phase two until all necessary requirement are me with'the <br />Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety. <br />(b) Description of Type of Reclamation <br />All area of disturbance will be reclaimed to pastureland, which is consistent with the <br />pre- mining land use. <br />The reclamation will consist of backfilling the overburden, grading, which will include <br />the establishment of final pit slopes which will not exceed a 3 to 1 final gradient, topsoil <br />redistribution and seeding. <br />E -1 <br />
