In November 2014, my tenant called me to notify me that the he had no water to the <br />house. Upon further inspection, I determined that the motor to the water pump in the well pit <br />had burned out. The motor had overheated due to the fact there was no water in the well and <br />the motorstayed in an on position continually running a dry pump. I installed a new pump and <br />had to add more water line to increase the depth to reach the water level. <br />In December 2014, one month later, I was notified again by my tenant that the well had <br />gone dry. I was again forced to add more water line to reach the water level in the well. I was <br />also advised to install a different type of water pump that would not burn out if the pump were <br />to run when there was no water in the well. I have continually had to purchase, and add more <br />water line, in order to reach the level of the water in my well. And the problem continues to <br />this day. <br />On February 17, 2015, my tenant called me to let me know that he had no water to the <br />house. The well was dry once again. On these occasions I am forced to use private sources to <br />provide water to my tenants. And I am not the only property owner in this area experiencing <br />this problem. <br />have recently been in contact with Mr. Joe Parker. Mr. Parker currently resides at 211 - <br />N Balsam Avenue, Greeley, Colorado, and is co -owner with his mother Mrs. Sylvia Parker at the <br />Balsam Avenue property. The Parker property is north east and adjacent to the Mill Iron <br />Mining open gravel pit mine. Mr. Parker indicated to me that the North Weld Water District <br />company provides potable water to his home. In addition, Mr. Parker also mentioned that he <br />has domestic water well that he used to use for watering his garden, lawn, and animals. At this <br />time the well is dry. Mr. Parker told me he has a forty foot well that has provided water to the <br />property for twenty five years. He says the water table is so low today that the well has "quit <br />pumping water". Mr. Parker only uses the well in the spring and summer months for outdoor <br />use. He says he noticed in April 2014 that the well was going dry, or that the water table had <br />dropped. Prior to that time he says he had never had never experienced any problems with his <br />well. <br />Mr. Parker also mentioned a gentleman by the name of Dennis Hoshiko who owns the <br />parcel of land located at the northeast corner of C Street and Balsam Avenue. I was told by Mr. <br />Parker that Mr. Hoshiko used to plant corn on this parcel, but can no longer plant corn because <br />his well has gone dry. I have attempted to contact Mr. Hoshiko to verify the information, but to <br />this day Mr. Hoshiko has not returned my calls. <br />The property located at 182 -N a Avenue sits directly south of my property, and is <br />owned by Mr. Luis Medrano. Mr. Medrano currently has this property leased out, and I have <br />
