been told on various occasion by Mr. Medrano that his current tenant also complains about
problems with the well and no water on certain occasions.
Mr. Hays, I am at a loss as to what to do next. My dilemma is that the well to the subject
property goes dry for days at a time, leaving my tenant with no water. I work full time, and am
forced to provide alternate sources of water for my tenant in my off time. I have had to replace
water pumps, and motors to my well, including adding water line to reach the depth of the
water in the well. I am not the only property owner in this area experiencing this problem. In
addition, the few property owners I have spoken to have also mentioned that the problem did
not exist prior to the increase in mining activity at the Mills Iron Mining Operation.
It would be my desire, that at your convenience, you might be able to drive out and
physically inspect the Iron Mills Mine, as well as my property, and see if a solution might be
found for my problem. My only wish is to be able to provide adequate and sufficient water to
my property on a daily basis, in order to no longer inconvenience my current and future
tenants, nor myself and my family..
Sincerely,
Marcos Hernandez Maria de Lourdes Palma
