Sediment deposition and scour along the access road. <br />HYDROLOGIC BALANCE -Rule 4.05 <br />Drainage Control 4.05.1, 4.05.2, 4.05.3; Siltation Structures 4.05.5, 4.05.6; Discharge Structures 4.05.7, 4.05.10; <br />Diversions 4.05.4; Effluent Limits 4.05.2; Ground Water Monitoring 4.05.13; Surface Water Monitoring 4.05.13; <br />Drainage — Acid and Toxic Materials 4.05.8; Impoundments 4.05.6, 4.05.9; Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18: <br />The operator has recently reclaimed the sediment pond and culverts along the access road. This reclamation is not <br />part of Munger Canyon Mine's SL -2. <br />GW monitoring holes near the sediment pond have not yet been reclaimed. <br />REVEGETATION — Rule 4.15 <br />Vegetative Cover; Timing: <br />Vegetation on the reclaimed haul road was very good with well established shrubs, sagebrush, and diverse grasses <br />and forbs. <br />The reclaimed haul road and portal bench exhibited good cover, and appeared stable. <br />Although late in the season, there were no obvious standing stalks of noxious species, i.e. thistles, knapweeds, or <br />other identifiable noxious species. Cheatgrass is present in the lower elevation areas of the access road. <br />Cheatgrass is a List C noxious weed and does contribute allowable cover to the success standard. As a list C <br />species, eradication of cheatgrass is not required. (State Dept. of Agriculture Noxious Weed Act) <br />OFFSITE SUPPORT FACILIITES - Rule 4.04,4.28: <br />The Loma Loadout is a reclaimed train loadout with an approved industrial post - mining land use. <br />The loadout has been regraded with a gentle slope to the southwest, and a berm on the southwest permit boundary. <br />No topsoil stockpiles were present on the site. Vegetation on the loadout consists predominately of 4 -wing <br />saltbush, forage kochia and perennial grasses. Cover is fair, with open spaces between the perennial ground cover. <br />There was no sign of rill or gully formation or sediment deposition on the down slope side of the property. <br />
