Loma Loadout sign. <br />Vegetation growth at Loma Loadout. <br />TOPSOIL — Rule 4.06 <br />Removal 4.06.2; Substitute Materials 4.06.4(4); Storage and Protection 4.06.3; Redistribution 4.06.4: <br />Topsoil depth was checked at the reclaimed site. Munger Canyon Mine's permit requires a minimum of topsoil <br />replacement thickness of 6 ". <br />Two topsoil replacement holes were dug by hand with a "sharpshooter" shovel at the small area adjacent to the <br />access road. Both TS hole #1 and TS hole #2 were dug to greater than 6 ". <br />Topsoil verification holes were dug on the reclaimed waste pile. TS hole 43 measured A" and the fourth topsoil <br />verification hole was dug in the reclaimed area between the waste pile and the recently reclaimed sediment pond. <br />TS hole 44 measured >6 ". The soil was firm and partially frozen in areas. Holes were dug to the required topsoil <br />replacement depth and not to an obvious color or textural change <br />No topsoil verification holes were dug along the reclaimed hual road. Topsoil was not replaced at the haul road due <br />to no topsoil existing along the haul road during construction. <br />One topsoil verification hole was dug at the reclaimed portal bench.
