An excavator with a hammer attachment broke up <br /> oversized rock. <br /> Material from Phase 1 slope grading was hauled, placed, and compacted as structural fill <br /> between Bench F stations F24+00 to F28+00 in Phase 1. An excavator with a hammer <br /> attachment broke up oversized rock. <br /> Phase 2 Slope grading occurred above the SGVLF haul road using Cat dozers between stations <br /> 74+00 to 78+00. Material from grading activities was pushed to the SGVLF haul road and <br /> transported downslope of stations L4+00 to L7+00 in Phase 1 where it was placed and <br /> compacted as structural fill per project specification. <br /> Slope grading occurred above the SGVLF haul road using Cat dozers between stations 64+00 to <br /> 80+00 in Phase 2 and upslope of Bench J stations J8+00 to J10+00 in Phase 1. Material <br /> generated by slope grading activities was stockpiled for removal. <br /> A Cat dozer performed Phase 1 slope grading on the west inboard slope, downslope of stations <br /> C0+00 to C1+00. <br /> Subgrade: (Operations Temporarily Suspended) <br /> Soil Liner Fill (SLF): (Placement Operations Temporarily Suspended) <br /> SLF was hauled from the Cameron Clay Pit area and stockpiled below Bench F between stations <br /> 170+00 and F10+00. <br /> Soil liner fill was placed to create an access road along the east Phase 1 slope approximately 50 <br /> feet downslope of Bench FF stations FFO+00 to FF9+00 for subsequent leak detection trench <br /> construction access. <br /> Cameron Site: SLF processing continued at the Cameron Site. <br /> Underdrain System: <br /> Primary Underdrain: Complete. <br /> Secondary Underdrain: No work was performed during this reporting period. <br /> Tertiary Underdrain: No work was performed during this reporting period. <br /> Leak Detection: No work was performed during this reporting period. <br /> B) Underground Workings: <br /> Underground working UG#6117 was backfilled using on-site structural fill, compacted per project <br /> technical specifications, and is considered remediated. <br /> Ames placed two layers of geogrid and select structural fill on working UG #6429 in accordance <br /> to project technical specifications. Additional remediation is required. <br /> C) Geomembrane: <br /> Phase 1 80-mil DSMS LLDPE Liner Installation: (Installation is suspended at this time.) <br /> D) Drain Cover Fill (DCF) (Placement operations suspended at this time.) <br /> E) High Volume Solution Collection System Piping (HVSCS): <br /> No work was performed during this reporting period. <br /> 2014-12-6-MLE2 WEEKLY FINAL Page 2 of 6 <br />
