ameO Structural fill was placed upslope from K -Bench stations K34 +00 to K41 +00. The structural fill material placed in this area came from the following locations: • The Surge area east of the Phase 2 Diversion Channel station 50 +00 (day and night shift) • Stockpiled material from the Squaw Gulch Valley Leach Facility (SGVLF) haul road at various stations (dayshift) Any oversized material encountered was reduced in size by an excavator with a hammer attachment. Slope grading occurred in the Phase 1 area at the following locations: • Above SGVLF haul road stations 16 +00 to 18 +00. • Above SGVLF haul road stations 45 +00 to 48 +00. • Above SGVLF haul road stations 55 +00 to 64 +00. Any material generated from slope grading activities was stockpiled for subsequent removal and use as structural fill. Material graded from above SGVLF haul road stations 45 +00 to 48 +00 was placed as structural fill on the haul road between stations 45 +00 to 48 +00 and upslope of stations J12 +00 to J14 +00. Material was hauled from the Surge area to construct the 20 -foot SGVLF haul ramp onto the PSSA for subsequent heavy haul truck traffic between SGVLF haul road stations 11 +00 to 13 +00. Subgrade: (Operations Temporarily Suspended) Soil Liner Fill (SLF): (Placement Operations Temporarily Suspended) SLF was hauled from the Cameron Clay Pit area and stockpiled below Bench F between stations F0 +00 and F10 +00. Cameron Site: SLF processing continued at the Cameron Site. Underdrain System: Primary Underdrain: Complete. Secondary Underdrain: No work was performed during this reporting period. Tertiary Underdrain: No work was performed during this reporting period. Leak Detection: No work was performed during this reporting period. B) Underground Workings: Underground working UG 6119 was previously remediated using geogrid and partially backfilled. Ames resumed backfilling operations using onsite structural fill. The structural fill was placed in 18 inch to 24 inch lifts by a D6 dozer and compacted with a Cat smooth drum roller. This site is considered remediated. Access to UG workings 6117, 6153, 6551, 6579 was restored for subsequent cemented rock fill placement. Cemented Rock Fill (CRF) was placed atop previously placed concrete plugs at the following underground workings (Additional remediation is required): UG #6117 = 50 cubic yards UG #6153 = 64 cubic yards UG #6551 = 40 cubic yards UG #6579 = 158 cubic yards 2014- 11- 22 -MLE2 WEEKLY FINAL Page 2 of 7
