November 13, 2014 C-1981-010/Trapper Mine JLE <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />The south drainage ditch along the southern perimeter of the Horse Gulch Fill was observed. The ditch appeared <br />stable and vegetated. An erosion gully on the portion of the ditch on the western face of the fill was observed <br />during the last inspection in October. Trapper has repaired the erosion and re-shaped this portion of the ditch. <br /> <br />West Horse pond was holding water but was not discharging. The embankment was stable and vegetated. The <br />primary and emergency spillway was clear and functional. <br /> <br />Horse Gulch Pond was holding water but was not discharging. The primary and emergency spillway was clear <br />and functional. The embankment was stable and vegetated. <br /> <br />A portion of the East Pyeatt Drainage north of the Life of Mine Road was observed. A significant amount of work <br />has been done on the upper drainage corridor where Trapper has pulled back the side slopes of the drainage where <br />erosion has been observed. Several dozer basins have been installed in this drainage and appear to be functioning. <br /> <br />West Flume #1 Pond was holding water but was not discharging. The embankment was stable and vegetated. The <br />primary and emergency spillway was clear and functional. <br /> <br />Oak #1 and #2 ponds were holding water. Oak #2 pond was not discharging. The pond embankments were stable <br />and vegetated and the primary and emergency spillway was clear and functional. <br /> <br />Grouse #1 pond was holding a small amount of water but was not discharging. Grouse #2 pond was dry. The <br />pond embankments were stable and vegetated and the primary and emergency spillway was clear and functional. <br /> <br />Sage Ponds #1 and #2 were dry. Both pond embankments were stable and vegetated. The primary and emergency <br />spillways were clear and functional. <br /> <br />East Pyeatt Ponds #1, 2, and 3 were holding water. Pond #3 was discharging. The pond embankments were stable <br />and vegetated. The primary and emergency spillway was clear and functional. <br /> <br />Middle Pyeatt Ponds #1, 2 and 3 were dry. The pond embankments were stable and vegetated. The primary and <br />emergency spillways were clear and functional. <br /> <br />West Pyeatt Pond #2 was dry. West Pyeatt #1 Pond was holding water but was not discharging. The pond <br />embankments were stable and the primary and emergency spillways were clear and functional. <br /> <br />Johnson Pond #6 was snow covered. The pond was recently cleaned and a new stand-pipe spillway was installed. <br />The embankment was stable and vegetated. The new spillway was clear and functional. The emergency spillway <br />was also clear and functional. <br /> <br />Johnson Ponds #7, 8, 9R and 10 were holding water. Pond 10 was discharging.
