2.04.9 SOILS RESOURCE INFORMATION
Description of Soil Horizons
Seven soil mapping units have been identified by theNRCSwithintheminedisturbanceazea. Asoilsmap
ofthe LLC property, which includes the permit area (Map 2.04.9-1) has been prepared which depicts
mappingtmitpolygons,piUprofilelocations,andalegend. The 24 soil profiles examined indicated that
observed field conditions correlated closely with the NRCS mapping. An exception were areas within
Puertecito and Jeff Canyons mapped by the NRCS as Shawa Loam. Sampling in these
