Please see page Exh. 8 -38. The majority of the ditches are on Map -20, but were missing on Map -21. The missing ditches have been added to Map -21. • D -139 located east of B -bench and downhill conveyor • D -B13 located west of curve #7 ❑ D -1314 located west of curve #5 • D -1317 parallels main haul road, on east side, north of curve #3 • D -1325 north of water tank bench, east of downhill conveyor • D -1335 south of curve #7 east of overhead conveyor • D -1336 south of curve #7 east of overhead conveyor • D -1337 north of water tank east of overhead conveyor • D -C10 East of downhill conveyor, below D -Bench DRMS: Not labeled: Culverts G3 and C26 Some culverts and ditches appear only on the Map 15 series or the Map 21 series, not both. Please indicate the location of the above listed culverts and ditches on a currently approved map or revise the appropriate maps to include a structure symbol and label. Please verify that the same culvert and ditch layer is applied to the Map 15 series and Map 21 series, or remove the culverts and ditches from the Map 15 series. BRL: The location of the ditches and culverts will remain on Map -15, but the labels have been turned off on Map -15. Culverts G3 and C26 have been labeled on Map -21 & Map 20. 19. DRMS: BRL provided a copy of Map 21 -4, to replace a missing copy in the Division's permit application package. While searching for culverts and ditches (Item 18) on this map, it became apparent that none of the culverts, half culvert/half pipes are labeled. Please label the culverts and pipes on Map 21 -4 that are part of the sedimentation control plan, or change the symbol and revise the legend to indicate those that are supplemental/ not mine related structures. BRL: The half culverts shown on Map 21 -4 function as erosion control features and not as a means to convey water from stormwater runoff. Culverts that outlet into the half culverts are from agricultural fields north of the rail line. There is no design information associated with the structures, they are considered supplemental and have been placed on the correct layer.
